Studio Arthur Casas have designed Mistral Iguatemi, a wine store and bar in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Customers are drawn to the store by the bright lighting and the white floor and ceiling that contrasts the rich, dark walls.

The lighting follows the lines of the store, creating a path and making it inviting to the customer, bringing them further into the store. Inspired by the old wineries, the carbonized walls featured in the store were developed exclusively for the interior.

The wood underwent a process which allowed it to be heated to a temperature of 3000 degrees celsius (5432 fahrenheit) to acquire a special materiality: the brownish tone and a curvilinear character.
Shelves were created so that the wine bottles could lay flat, and be displayed with horizontal labels for identifying each bottle.

At the front of the retail space is the wine bar, that sits within the mall corridor. The wine bar, in the shape of an island, is surrounded by slats of carbonized wood, following the same visual identity of the interior of the store.
