Ksenia Vinogradova of Jalousier, Inc. has created a gadget to allow you to turn any horizontal or vertical blinds into a self-adjusting, light, time, and temperature-responsive smart window.
Ksenia came up with the concept while having to open and close 12 window blinds at home and even more in the office, and wished there was an easier way to do it.
Named FlipFlic, the device attaches to pre-existing blinds, and wirelessly communicates with your mobile device.
The instructions are pretty simple…
Below is a close-up look at attaching it to where the wand normally is.
The solar panel attaches to the window, and is then connected to the FlipFlic.
Once it’s all installed, you can then use the app to program your blinds to open and close when you want via your mobile device, and if you have them on multiple windows, you can sync them through one device.
