Architecture Firm Imaginary Objects, has shared photos of a small child-friendly cabin they completed in Chonburi, Thailand, that’s inspired by the spirit of a treehouse.

Positioned next to their parent’s RV, the open cabin embraces simplicity, nature, and play.

The lightweight teak structure has been influenced by traditional Thai houses.

Stairs provide access to the cabin, with the scale of the steps, ladder, and bathroom door thoughtfully tailored to the children’s proportions.

The cabin consists of two compact bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and an open-air deck that serves as a communal living space, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

A dining and workshop table, cantilevering from the deck, extends toward the fields

Designed to foster a close connection with nature, the bedroom windows can fully open, allowing the interior to merge seamlessly with the landscape.

A large sink in the common area provides a space for the children to wash their collected treasures from the outdoors or engage in art and experiments, while the bathroom includes a shower and toilet.

At night, lighting highlights the roof design.

Here’s a look at the architectural drawings for the cabin.
