Architecture and consulting firm Esquissos, has recently completed the design of a small house in Cascais, Portugal, and as part of the interior, they included hidden bike storage.

The narrow house made it important to use the space efficiently, and instead of having an empty space at the bottom of the stairs, they included a cabinet made from the same wood as the stairs.

The cabinet runs the depth of the stairs, and is large enough to store a bike out of sight. Another benefit of the cabinet, is that the surface can also be used to display decorative items or plants.
