When Martins | Afonso atelier de design were renovating this modern house in France, they decided to include a new seating area in the hallway in the form of a window seat.

The new wood-lined window seat, nicknamed ‘Cocoon’, has been partially built into the wall, and provides a place for peaceful rest or additional seating for socializing, turning the space into a usable space with a variety of functions.
