Architecture firm Bradley Van Der Straeten has designed a brick extension for a house in London, England, and as part of the interiors, they included a modern wood kitchen without hardware.
To stay within their budget, the designers created a kitchen using standard off-the-shelf kitchen units, but they had natural oak fronts and facing dividers made that included small cut-out finger pulls instead of hardware.
These small semi-circle cutouts are an easy way to open a cupboard or drawer, and due to the wood panel behind them, you aren’t able to see through to the interior of the cabinet.
In the adjacent dining area, a custom-built wood bench also makes use of the minimalist finger pulls by including them on two drawers that complement the design of the kitchen.
