Landscape architect and pool builder OFTB (Out From The Blue), has completed a modern pool and garden space that replaced an existing, small courtyard situated between a garage/former stables to one end and the residence to the other.
The house, designed by Matt Gibson Architecture and located in Melbourne, Australia, has sliding glass doors that open the living room to the outdoor space, that measures in at just 21 feet (6.55m) wide.

Outside, the pool and feature wall behind the pool were designed to blend with the existing architecture of the house and garage, which form dominant features at either end of the courtyard.

Feature light panels in the accent wall reflect the timber cabinetry within the house, with some of the light panels in the wall exposed, while others are partially hidden behind timber battens, creating a playful element to the space and reflecting on the pool water in the evening.
The green-blue ceramic tile lining the pool was chosen to compliment the green wall to the far end of the pool and to the warehouse to the west.
