Detail 9 Architects have given new life to a mid-century modern home in Melbourne, Australia, by adding a new extension and a basement with a wine cellar.
At the front of the house, a master suite extension was added, and was carefully designed to maintain the mid-century appeal.

The focal point of the renovation is the bespoke, mid-century modern styled kitchen, that features an island with mid-century style legs, custom cabinetry with handmade drawer/cabinet pulls, and a tiled backsplash which adds texture to the room.
