Designers Jason Krugman and Scott Leinweber, have worked together to create the Splyt Light, a modular light you can build yourself, that can be either a table lamp or a chandelier.
Here they are, busy at work in Jason’s studio in Brooklyn, NY.
When designing the light, there were lots of prototypes and testing.
Here’s a look at how it’s wired on the inside.
The light is made up of a variety of components, that come in a do-it-yourself kit.
To build it, you simple start attaching the pieces where you want them, and then screw in the light bulbs.
This is what the finished table lamp can look like.
And here it is as a smaller chandelier.
