Post Architecture Inc. recently completed a condo in Toronto, Canada, for their clients who were downsizing. Included in the design is a custom closet with a hidden laundry.
A 7 foot long and low drawer unit was built opposite a wall of closet storage at the entryway to the bedroom, however it’s a wood slat door within the matte blue-grey stained wood closet that caught our eye.
Hiding within the wood slat door, which when opened tucks away to the side, is a laundry area with a washer / dryer, and shelving above that provides room for laundry soap. By having the laundry located within the closet, it means that there’s no need for a separate laundry room, which saved on space.
