Dog beds are often an afterthought for many people when they design their interior. Normally a cushioned dog bed is placed wherever there’s room, or on the odd occasion, some people go to the effort of a built-in dog bed.
But when LCGA Design were designing the interior of this apartment, they created a piece of furniture for their clients that combines a dog bed/house, a room divider, and a side table.
The furniture piece sits at the end of the sofa, and by doing this it helps to separate the living room from the dining room, and provides additional storage for books or decorative items.

When you’re in the living room, you can see that one of the shelves of the divider extends out to become a side table for the sofa, and at the same time it creates a little roof for the dog bed, enabling the dog to feel safe in the space.
By having this piece of furniture, the home owners have a dedicated space for their dog, while keeping the rest of the interior tidy and organized.
