Italian design consultancy firm Studio li-do, have designed a new upholstered armchair named ‘Chemise’, for manufacturer My Home Collection.
The designers mention that the armchair has a ‘double personality’ that involves a soft upholstered fabric that wraps around a solid structure, in this case the chair frame.

The end result is a modern armchair that consists of a large upholstered cushion that wraps around the base and is held in place by a metal tube.
The large wrap-around cushion provides comfortable armrest for the person sitting in it. To add even more design flair, the chairs are available in multiple colors and textures.
