mars.s architects have designed the interior of Lasagneria, an Italian lasagne bistro in Prague, that was once a grocery store.
One of the main design elements in the interior is a ceiling that’s been partially covered using black string.

The semi-transparent suspended ceiling which forms an irregular web, not only gets attention, but it also hides the air-conditioning units and vents in the ceiling.

The ‘web’ ceiling detail travels from the seating area through to the service counter.

The bistro also features a patterned floor, that’s made up of oak parquets, stained in a dark shade and composed in standard tree structure, and white tile of the same dimensions, which is interlocked in the wood floor.

The white tile wraps from the floor and up on to the wall behind the counter.
