Brooklyn-based designer Fernando Mastrangelo, has designed this unique and sculptural bench as part of his “Drift” collection.
Inspired by glaciers and natural earth formations, the designer used hand-dyed sand with cement to create the bench that represents different layers of earth.
The design of the bench is a result of the designer’s interest in blending organic natural materials with minimal and elegant geometric forms.
The bench will be shown by James Gallery at Art Genève in Switzerland from January 28th to the 31st, 2016.
