Flavio Castro of FC Studio has designed the bright and colorful renovation of a small kitchen in an apartment in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Here’s a look at a before photo of the kitchen.
And here’s a look at the dramatic redesign. The white/cream colored cabinets of the original kitchen have been replaced by a new bright blue color scheme with minimalist and glossy cabinets. By using color, the designers of the apartment were able to define the kitchen area from the open floor plan living room.

Every space has a designated function, like the washer/dryer hidden away at the end, a pull-out countertop underneath the microwave or the cabinets that provide and abundance of storage.

A long light that’s recessed into the white ceiling provides a light source at night, that also blends away during the day when not in use.
