Rather than including a headboard behind the bed in this modern home, Australian design firm InForm, installed a wood accent wall to create a sense of warmth in the bedroom.

By including wood in the design of the bedroom, it added texture, made the room more inviting and created a contrast with matte black pendant light hanging next to the bed.
