Los Angeles based interior designer Kelly Shepard has designed a bathroom that has a calm atmosphere and some noteworthy design details.
The soft color palette plays well with the floral and brass accents throughout, while the wood vanity cabinets are hardware free, with just finger notches providing access to the storage within.
To the right of the vanity, there’s a freestanding white bathtub recessed into its own alcove. A sculptural multi-light pendant lamp with glass geometric shades, hangs above the bath, highlighting the design.
The double-vanity, which travels to the end of the bathroom, has a stone countertop, with under-mount sinks, and two square wood-framed mirrors.
Opposite the vanity is the glass-enclosed shower. The brass accents continue and have been used to hold the glass panels in place.
Inside the shower, the brass shower head and shower wand (from Newport Brass) contrast the neutral stone, while a shower niche with a brass border provides a place for storage. A small corner bench has also been included in the design of the shower.
