Included as part of an overall apartment renovation in Brazil, BLOCO Arquitetos has created a bright and modern bathroom featuring wood, granite, and black accents. Let’s take a closer look…
The natural wood vanity is topped with a Brazilian grey and white granite in a matte finish, however, it’s the dual sinks that have an angle to them and an invisible drain that caught our eye.
Both the vanity and the large mirror mounted to the wall above provide storage for the bathroom, while the matte black tap hardware and faucets complement the full-height frame of the shower screen and the window frame.
The floor-to-ceiling white tiles, which measure in at 15x15cm, have matching white grout and are featured on all of the walls of the bathroom.
The Brazilian natural stone floor found throughout the space is the same material that’s used for the vanity countertop. By using a grey floor, it creates a neutral base for the white tiles, wood vanity, and black accents to stand out.
In the shower, there’s a black-framed three-pane window that looks out to a collection of plants located between the bathroom and the facade of the apartment.
