Design studio El Departamento, has shared photos of ‘Nude Library’, Nude Project’s new flagship store at La Roca Village in Barcelona, Spain.
Drawing inspiration from La Roca Village’s distinctive character, which evokes a late 19th and early 20th-century Catalan village, El Departamento has envisioned a space that integrates seamlessly into this vibrant environment, with its streets, main square, theater, and commercial promenade.
To complete this narrative, studio co-founders Alberto Eltini and Marina Martin have materialized what was missing: a bookstore as a new cultural landmark.
This is how ‘Nude Library’ was born, a space where the DJ booth reflects the brand’s connection with art and music, while an imposing 19-foot (six-meter) high wooden bookshelf symbolizes the creative and cultural inspiration that defines its identity.
This central axis combines visual and material references that link architecture with culture and the creative community, reinforcing Nude Project’s philosophy: “By Artists, For Artists.”
The wooden bookshelf that spans the main wall and integrates a DJ booth at its center, while behind, there’s a fitting room that features Nude Project’s signature baby blue, with rounded forms and soft textures that generate a welcoming and balanced atmosphere.
