As part of the design of an apartment in Barcelona, Egue y Seta created an outdoor terrace that’s ideal for entertaining.
A built-in lounge was designed for conversation or relaxation, with the surrounding plants providing privacy.
The lounge looks towards both the dining area and the bar. The dining area has bench seating that matches the lounge, while the grey wood slat fence adds to the modern feeling of the space.
Adjacent to the dining area is the bar. With room for a couple of stools, it creates a casual spot to have a drink and enjoy the sunshine. A hidden detail is the white screen that can be pulled down to show a movie on.
Almost hidden from view is the small swimming pool located behind the lounge. It’s raised up so that when someone is in the pool, they are at the same height as the people sitting in the lounge.
The shade cloths with a striped pattern add another design element to the space, complementing the black and grey accents used throughout the outdoor space.
