Russian designer Katia Tolstykh, has designed the PROUN Chair, a modern and sculptural chair that combines the hard surface of metal with a spherical cushioned seat.
A single color has been used for the frame and the soft upholstered seat, creating a unified look, while the texture is a combination of glossy painted sheet metal and a matte velvet textile.
The soft upholstered seat is made from a foam rubber and it’s separated into two hemispheres, with the metal frame of the chair between the two.
