Based in Brooklyn, New York, Casa Kids is a design company that creates and manufactures children’s furniture and custom rooms, and such example of this is their latest project, a bunk bed for three children.
The narrow triple bunk bed has been created with three separate beds, each giving the children their own space. The designers have used walnut finish with white accents, keeping a modern and bright atmosphere in the room.
A dedicated set of stairs and cutout provide a separate entrance for the middle bunk. Hanging tray tables give the middle and top bunks space for frequently used items, like water, books, and reading lights, without traveling all the way down the stairs.
A unique, u-shaped staircase provides extra stairs to reach higher than a traditional staircase, and custom cutouts reminiscent of portholes, have plexiglass inserts to let light flow into the second flight of stairs without compromising safety.
Although the beds look like built-ins, they are completely free-standing, allowing them to be disassembled and re-used in a different space.
