JK Lab Architects have designed Moloko Bar, a small cafe in Odessa, Ukraine, that combines blues and yellow with natural materials and a couple of fun design elements.
Outside, a bright white facade is highlighted by the use of yellow awnings and a yellow door.

Inside, a textured wall that’s been painted white, becomes a backdrop for the cafe’s logo. Beneath the logo are long seats decorated with blue and yellow cushions. Small stools on wheels make it easy to create extra seating for small groups.

One of the fun elements in the interior is a white ‘splash’ floor design that connects with the wood floor.

Bar height counters and stools have been positioned in a window alcove looking out onto the street. Above the counter are three yellow pendant lights that highlight a wood shelf that’s home to three pot plants.

On the other side of the cafe, there’s a wall that’s been decorated with floating wood shelves, and a long communal table with stools and seating.

The wall also features blue accents in the form of portholes that have mirrors inside them, reflecting the rest of the cafe.

The same porthole details are positioned above a door in a small hallway.
