The Ritz-Carlton have recently added a Lake Club to their Lake Tahoe hotel that gives guests a place to enjoy the views and have direct access to the lake.
Clare Walton of Walton Architecture + Engineering designed the Lake Club using materials like ledgestone and cedar wood to evoke a warm and welcoming feeling, that when combined with steel and glass, they come together to create a contemporary appearance.
The interior architecture and design of Lake Club was completed by Jennifer Loving of Walton Architecture + Engineering, and stepping inside into the entryway, you can see straight through to the lake.
On the water side of Lake Club, there’s a ground-floor dining terrace and an expansive lawn that extends to the water’s edge. There’s also an outdoor spa and a fire pit.
For access to the lake, there’s a private boat pier.
Back inside, the multi-level Lake Club features an indoor gathering area with a lounge focused on a fireplace, dining tables and a wood covered bar,
Wood and black steel stairs lead up to the upper floor of the club house.
Upstairs, there’s another fireplace with a stone surround, and a covered dining deck with expansive views of the lake.
