The design was inspired by both the traditional and contemporary Vietnamese culture and symbols, and depicts a pair of cranes, the shell of the turtle, the bronze drum (Trong dong Dong Son), the boat and the egg (Lac Long Quan Au Co Legend)
This sculpture is also a symbol of friendship and harmony and acts as a lasting monument to the Vietnamese community’s success.
