This Sculptural Wooden Slat Bench Was Inspired By A Falcon

Oleg Soroko has designed an organically shaped, sculptural wooden bench named the Falcon Bench, inspired by the bird of the same name.

As part of his collection of Parametric Furniture, Russian designer Oleg Soroko has designed the Falcon Bench.

The bench was inspired by the various shapes that a falcon can create depending on what it’s doing, be it sitting, waiting, watching, casually soaring, or diving for prey.

Oleg Soroko has designed an organically shaped, sculptural wooden bench named the Falcon Bench, inspired by the bird of the same name.

The curved bench is made from layers of 18 mm thick plywood arranged on iron rods. The simple configuration allowed the bench to be created easily and cost effectively.
