Polished concrete floors are a great way to create an industrial feel in your home. Concrete floors can be found in nearly every room of the house. Let’s take a look at how the material has been used in various rooms throughout the house.
KITCHEN / DINING
Polished concrete floors in the kitchen and dining area are a great idea because they’re easy to clean and extremely durable, just try not to drop anything breakable. The color of the floor also allows it to work with any decor style or color scheme already going on, and makes changing the style of the rest of the kitchen easy to do over the years.

LIVING ROOM
Concrete in the living room may sound cold and uninviting but if it’s layered with blankets, pillows, and comfy cushions, the opposite ends up being true. The harshness of the concrete is reduced and you’re left with a contemporary and cozy living space. The material also lets you change up the style of the room whenever you feel like it by simply changing out pillows and rugs.

BEDROOM
Polished concrete floors in the bedroom create a clean, industrial feel that gets softened and warmed with the addition of bedroom textiles like duvets, pillows, rugs, and drapery. If you do go for a concrete floor in the bedroom you might want to invest in a cozy rug or have the floors heated so your day doesn’t start with cold feet.
