Interior designer Vera Iachia had a little fun with the floor design at the Vila Monte hotel in Portugal.

Throughout the common areas of the hotel, the concrete flooring appears to have had a stencil applied to it, allowing some of it to be painted white, creating a look that resembles stones embedded into the floor.

The white sections contrast the grey concrete and add to the overall brightness of the hotel, that itself is home to a palette of mostly white and wood.
