Last month, we featured a hydroponic garden by IKEA, and now a Japanese company has launched their own version, named Foop.
The countertop hydroponic garden lets you grow food from a single seed.
The seed is grown in these little cultivation cups that sit in a tray.
The garden communicates with an app on your device to tell you if you need to add more water, and where the plants are in their growth cycle.
The hydroponic system has a cover over it, allowing the plants to grow without bugs getting in. It also lets the system keep a consistent temperature.
Once your leafy greens have grown to the right size to be eaten, you will receive a notification on your device.
The tray slides out, allowing easy access to the greens.
You can pick them whenever you need them for meals like salads or sandwiches!
