Susan McLeary of Passion Flowers, creates beautiful pieces of jewelery that include a natural element, living succulents.
Each piece starts out with a brass metal base, and then using locally sourced plants, she places each succulent on the base by hand, paying careful attention to the design and color of each plant, so that it all works together.
The pieces are intended for special occasions, however they can survive for a few weeks, if treated gently.
After the piece has been worn for a few weeks, you’re able to remove the plants from their backing and plant them in soil, giving you a long lasting gift.
