Ahead Concept Design have recently completed the design of an apartment in Taipei, Taiwan, that features custom-designed wood arches throughout.
In the living room, the added wood arches transform the windows from standard apartment windows into curved design elements.

On the adjacent wall, a curved arch defines the entertainment center, creates a space for storage and provides a home for the fireplace. The couch can be easily positioned for watching a movie or placed against the windows for a more open floor plan.

Sharing the room is the dining area. A dining table that has both chairs and a bench, sits beside a turquoise blue wall with built-in open display shelving with hidden lighting.

In the kitchen, rich wood elements have been combined with large format tiles on the walls and herringbone patterned flooring.

The rich wood continues through to the bedroom and provides a backdrop for the bed. A simple upholstered headboard hangs from the wall with the use of leather straps.

An archway provides access to the mirrored closet and the small bathroom. In the bathroom, a curved mirror is backlit for added light, and a glass shower screen allows the light from the windows to travel throughout the space.
