Spanish designer and artist Lucas Munoz, has created Objects From Interstitial Space (OFIS), a collection of furniture and lighting pieces that draw inspiration from construction materials.
In the design of the pieces, materials meant for behind and in between walls (architectural interstitial spaces) have been brought into the living spaces of the home.
Galvanized steel, weathered steel, copper, concrete, and granite have been combined to create the furniture and lighting pieces, and to give the materials an upgraded visual and functional value.
