Design firm Egue y Seta have recently completed a two-level penthouse apartment in Barcelona, Spain, and included as part of the overall design is a multi-functional rooftop terrace.
A variety of seating areas, like an outdoor day bed and lounge chairs, are located off a wood path. Also, a sunken hot tub is surrounded by a small wood deck, with built-in planters adding privacy and natural accents to the space.

The wood path leads to a covered outdoor kitchen / bar with a woodfire oven and bbq, and dining area with banquette seating and views of the city.
Outdoor lighting and fans create a relaxed atmosphere and allow the space to be used throughout the day and night.
