A’Design Award and Competition have released their World Design Rankings (WDR) in Arts, Architecture and Design, with the United States once again taking first place among the 97 represented countries in 2017, with 584 design awards won globally.
The World Design Rankings ranks all the countries based on the number of designers that have been granted with the A’ Design Award, and this year the results are significantly different than last year with the Top 10 shifting and 9 new countries were added to the list.
In the Top 10, the US and China hold the top two positions, while Japan moved from 8th to 3rd and Australia soared from 21st to 8th.
Nine new countries were added to the list including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Luxembourg, Kenya, Tanzania, Liechtenstein, Armenia, Cameroon and Swaziland.
