A brand new coffee shop has recently opened in Hong Kong, and they have dhas transformed this corner site and the character of the neighborhood by using warm materials and emphasizing indoor-outdoor engagement.

Designed by James JJ Acuna of JJA / Bespoke Architecture, the coffee shop named Elephant Grounds has transformed this corner site and the character of the neighborhood by using warm materials and emphasizing indoor-outdoor engagement.


This cafe has a simple color palette of wood, white and black, with a touch of green from the plants.

The entrance of the coffee shop has been pushed back almost 4 feet (1.2m), to allow for an outdoor coffee bar and give it an al-fresco atmosphere.
