Father and daughter, Diane and Franck Levy, were travelling together and had a very uncomfortable long-haul flight. Thinking there must be a better way to get some rest on long flights, they designed the Woollip Travel Pillow.
Inspired by the design of portable massage chairs, the inflatable pillow rests on the seat-back tray, and allows you to slide your arms through it, while resting your head in the face support, much like on a massage table.
Having worked on it and tested it for the last 18 months with pilots, designers, and physiotherapists, they’ve finalized the design, and the travel pillow will now be launched to the public via Kickstarter on March 18th.
